US$250 for a custom jewelry design service: an initial hand-drawn proposal developed for your agreed project.

This payment begins the design stage. It does not purchase finished jewelry or an instant-download drawing. No physical item is shipped with this service.

The photographs show our design process, studio work and examples of completed commissions. The jewelry pictured is not included in this purchase.

Please purchase this Design Retainer only after we have discussed your idea and agreed on the initial design direction and budget range.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

The formal design stage includes an initial hand-drawn proposal and up to three rounds of minor refinements within the agreed direction. Please bring together your feedback for each revision round.

HOW THE RETAINER IS APPLIED

If the commission proceeds, the US$250 Design Retainer is credited toward the final project price. After final design approval and quotation, the next payment brings total payments received to 70% before technical development or production begins. This retainer forms part of that 70% and is not charged in addition to it.

CANCELLATIONS & DESIGN FEES

• Before design work begins: You may cancel for a full refund.
• After work begins, before the agreed service is complete: We charge only for completed work, using the work stages and fees agreed with you in advance, and refund the uncompleted portion. If those stages or fees have not been agreed, we will discuss and resolve this with you before applying any charge for completed work.
• After the agreed design service is complete: The design fee is not refundable solely because you decide not to proceed with making the jewelry. Receiving the first sketch alone does not mean the service is complete if agreed refinements are still outstanding.

If you proceed with the commission, the US$250 Design Retainer is credited toward the final project price. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

This purchase covers the design service, not a finished piece of jewelry. Each commission is quoted individually; custom commissions generally begin at US$2,000. The final design, materials, project scope and price are agreed separately.
